Virtual Private Networks allow secure connections between private networks through the use of the internet. They let the computers even those in the remote areas to operate as though they were on the same local and secure network. A lot of businesses use VPN because they are efficient, useful, and secure. Imagine, you can be at home and access the computers in your company as if you were just sitting there! And while doing this, no third party intruder can tap, snoop, or interfere with your data. Clearly, having a VPN is a great thing, right?

A vpn nasil kurulur connection on the client machine can be configured using either PPTP protocol or the L2TP protocol. L2TP is regarded as more secure than PPTP as it requires an authentication from the machine as well, not only from the user.
Look at any wireless router review and you will see new features touted as if they will make you better looking and re-grow hair – if only you just spend that extra 30 ($50)! You tell yourself that feature X or widget Y will really make things easier – but how often is that really the case?
Unless you’re doing something really really complex or unique, your best bet is to allow the internet provider to supply the router … that’s called “managed” service. Then you have no acquisition cost, you won’t pay extra for a dual T1 router on which you might never deploy the 2nd circuit, don’t have to go through the lease or buy decision, have no maintenance costs or worries, you have no risk of obsolescence, and don’t have to program the thing (or pay someone else to do it). AT&T circuits have the managed router option for only an additional $15/month or so for a single T1. Other providers include the router for free.
Dropbox is another syncing service that does pretty much the same thing as SpiderOak. However, I like SpiderOak better because it hasn’t suffered from the same security issues as Dropbox. Additionally, SpiderOak takes a zero-knowledge approach to your data storage. This means SpiderOak employees are unable to access or even view your files.
LogMeIn – Is the program I am really impressed with. If you have ever used GoToMyPC it’s almost exactly like that but cheaper! LogMeIn installs a program on a host PC that shares it to a secure web site for desktop manipulation. The Free version allows for all functionality indefinitely to as many PCs as you want. (GoToMyPc only allows 1 PC for 30 days by comparison) Set up is easy to follow prompts and mobile devise compatible.
